Come avviene ogni anno, il produttore esecutivo di Pretty Little Liars, Marlene King, anche questa volta ci ha suggerito qualche puntata da vedere prima dell’attesissimo finale dell’11 agosto, scelte tra quelle suggerite dai fan e dal cast.
Le puntate saranno trasmesse da ABC Family prima del finale, per tutti quelli che vorranno fare una maratona televisiva prima della grande rivelazione.
- Stagione 1, episodio 01, Pilot
La prima puntata dello show è essenziale per capire a fondo la trama della storia. Tutto ha avuto inizio da quella notte, il primo settembre 2009, in cui Alison scomparve in circostanze misteriose, e da quando, appena un anno dopo, le ragazze hanno cominciato a ricevere messaggi da -A.
Sappiamo che Alison è scomparsa volutamente, non è morta e che in realtà -A è stata Mona. Già da qui, però, possiamo ricavare indizi per trovare altre risposte: la situazione, ora, è molto più complicata di come fosse all’inizio.
- Stagione 1, episodio 11, Moments Later
Hanna è in ospedale e le ragazze ricordano tutto quello che hanno dovuto subire da quando -A è entrato nelle loro vite. La parte più interessante è il discorso tra Alison ed Hanna, molto più reale di come sembri: Ali è una bugiarda perfetta ma bisogna crederle quando dice che le quattro ragazze sanno molto più di quel primo settembre di quanto vogliano ammettere.
- Stagione 2, episodio 13, The First Secret
Il primo episodio speciale di Halloween è tutto un flashback. Le ragazze non sono state le prime ad essere minacciate da -A, Alison è stata la prima a ricevere messaggi. Aria scopre il segreto di suo padre e Spencer dopo le elezioni per il capoclasse scopre che qualcuno molto vicino a lei potrebbe non essere dalla sua parte.
Non dimentichiamo il racconto di Alison sulle gemelle: è solo una storia dell’orrore o può ispirarsi a fatti realmente accaduti?
- Stagione 3, episodio 21, Out of Sight, Out of Mind
Spencer si confida con le altre ragazze: ha che Toby è in realtà -A. Questo però non le ha facilitato la situazione: poco dopo infatti, ritrova un cadavere nei boschi, che ha un tatuaggio identico a quello di Toby e crede che il ragazzo sia morto. La ragazza è sconvolta e viene ricoverata al Radley, dove pochi giorni dopo deciderà di entrare a far parte del Team di -A.
- Stagione 4, episodio 19, Shadow Play
Spencer, addormentata dopo aver preso le sue pillole, immagina la sua vita negli anni ‘40, alla ricerca di risposte per le sue tante domande. Non è solo un sogno ma una ricerca di indizi nella coscienza di Spencer stessa, che riesce ad essere lucida nel pensiero solo quando si allontana dalla realtà.
- Stagione 5, episodio 05, Miss Me x 100
Nel centesimo episodio della serie Alison è tornata a casa, tutto sembra essere tornato alla normalità fino a che -A non torna a farsi sentire, poco dopo che le ragazze scoprono che è Bethany Young la ragazza ad essere stata sepolta al posto di Ali.
- Stagione 5 episodio 25, Welcome to the Dollhouse
-A decide di giocare un po’ con le ragazze e dopo averle trasformate in marionette per la sua casa delle bambole, decide di organizzare un ballo. Spencer ha un incontro ravvicinato con -A, senza però riuscire a vederlo; ha qualcosa di molto familiare per la ragazza ma quello che si sa di lui è solo il nome: Charles DiLaurentis.
